* Tuition is due the 1st of every month. A $15.00 late fee will be charged once tuition is over 7 days late.
* Tuition is based on a 10 month session, and broken into 10 equal monthly payments. Therefore, tuition will be
the same regardless how many weeks are in the month, or because of holiday breaks.
* There is a $25.00 returned check fee for all returned checks.
* There is no refund on tuition for missed classes. There may be a class your child can make-up in. Please see
your child’s teacher. There will be no make-up classes available after December.
* There are no refunds given for dropped classes. Once you have paid for the month you are committed for that
entire month of classes, regardless if you attend or not. Class additions will be pro-rated if added in the middle of
the month.
* You are considered enrolled in, and will be responsible for tuition, until notice is given you have dropped the
class.
* If less than 3 students from a group lesson show up, the instructor may shorten the length of that class because
of the special attention and extra hard work required of each student. Normally, semi-private lessons are at a
much higher rate.
* Students will be placed in a class level as determined by Elite Dance Academy staff. Class placement is
determined not only by age, but also technique level. Excessive absences from weekly classes may require a
student to be moved to a lower level class.
* The studio will not necessarily be closed for school snow days, since many times the roads are clear and safe
by the afternoon. Please call the studio after 2pm if you are unsure.
* Please try feed your children, and siblings before coming to the studio. If you must bring food, it needs to be a
non messy snack, and you must clean up after your child. Food on the floor will attract ants.
Dress Code:
All classes: Hair pulled back, securely. No loose or sharp jewelry. No gum.
Ballet: Pink tights, any colored leotard only. No baggy clothes. Pink leather ballet shoes. ( a ballet skirt is
optional ). Pre- Ballet & Ballet I - full sole ballet shoes. Ballet II and III split sole ballet shoes.
Jazz and Tap: Leotard and tights, or dance top and dance shorts or Capri dance pants. ( dance pants must be
short enough to see feet and ankles). No baggy clothes.
Jazz shoes: Capezio Caramel slip-on jazz shoe.
Tap shoes: Pre-Tap & Tap I- Bloch Tan “Mary Jane” tap shoes.
Tap II and III - Bloch Tan “slip on” tap shoes.
Creative Movement: Leotard and tights, any color. Pink, full sole, leather ballet shoes. (ballet skirt is optional).
Hip Hop: Jazz pants, and leotard or dance top. Black dance sneakers.
Dance clothes and shoes can be purchased at Bodies In Motion in the Novi Town Center.
